Its been a year

Man cant believe it's already been a year. Only 365 days ago, I graduated Homebush Boys High and prepared myself for the HSC. A year later, here I am, almost completed my first year of University. Man oh Man, I don't feel like I have learnt a single thing in uni... well maybe I have but it is insignificant. I feel like I havent changed much either, still feel like a high school student hahaha but some what deep inside I have changed. I cant pin point exactly what has changed but I definitely feel slightly different, my perspective on live has shifted a little. I feel a bit more generous, a bit more helpful. I am truly grateful of the all the friends I have made in uni this year. Some might say Homebush meeting Canley was a total disaster. But I say it was destiny, the way our lives intertwine together was fate. Although, sometimes I feel like the role of the captain is entrusted upon me, having to pull my friends along, of course not academically, no where near that. I feel like I am the glue that holds everything together, our social circle that is. Maybe you guys don't see it that way, but I can't even stand to imagine our group breaking apart. Its tiring sometimes but at times there is it reward. Such as yesterday, I organised an ice skating event for the UNSW Engineering/ Optometry Crew, although organising it was some what a bitch, but it was all worth it. Its most certainly gonna be a memorable moment. This is the first every official outting we had together, and I hope this will spark many other events to come in the future.
