Gold Coast, The Summer Trip

Most of you guys would know that I went on a trip to Sunshine Coast with a couple of friends, Brenda Belinda Jun Derek William Raymond and a bunch of new friends that I met just days prior to take off, Amy Melissa Mel Dianne. Due to the fact that it has been a intense 5 days of constant activity, I will just briefly explain what we did each day. So arrived at Sydney Domestic Airport on the 14th, Raymond's mum gladly drove all the boys to the airport. From there we waited for all the others to arrive. Once we finished checking in, the girls ran for Victoria Secret store while the boys hit the food court while we waited for our boarding time at 3:20pm. That was the start of all the pranks, Derek and William attached a packet of tomato sauce to the bottom of my straw and placed it into my coke. Man I got to admit that its the best prank I have ever encountered. It was really unexpected. Soon it was time for take off and and arrived at Gold Coast at 3:40pm. The flight is 1.5hrs but somehow we got stuck in this wormhole and we time travelled backwards hahaha. LOL jokes, there is no day light saving in QLD so it looked like we time travelled. Once arriving at Gold Coast, we hit the hotel, The Tower of Chevron Renaissance, and woolies. The apartment we booked was only meant to be fore 6 people but we had 12 hahaha, so we snuck in using 3 keys and 3 smaller groups.We had pasta, both tomato and cream based sauce and salad for dinner  We spend the rest of the night chilling and settling in.

Next day, we all got up at 7pm and made breakfast and dressed up to head out to Dreamworld. Take the bus there, we observed the streets of Gold Coast and man it seem like a ghost town, barely anybody on the streets walking, barely any cars driving by. Most of the city was under construction as they were building a train network. Arriving at Dreamworld, we found it quite empty and we barely had to wait for any rides. We practically rode on everything on Dreamworld in the time span of 5 hours, when on roller-coaster after roller-coaster. Started off with Buzzsaw, then some slow paced water rides, The Claw, Pandamonium. We even went laser-tagging . After Dreamworld, we went back to the hotel and prepared for dinner, had fried rice and roasted chicken that night. The worse fried rice i have ever made in my life, so disappointed :( After that the Boys + Brenda and Belinda hit the swimming pool and then we ended up wandering around the streets and ended up at the beach.

The 16th of Dec, some of the optom girls needed to enrol for their uni timetable, so we needed out to harbour town which is this shopping district via public bus, the bus network was quite confusing at first but we got the hang of it but it was really pricey $7 for a single ride. It wasn't that bad, there was quite a few name-branded stores but nothing had crazy sells that made you want to grab everything. But of course that shouldn't be the case since we were still in Australia. By some friends bought heaps of stuff while others barely bought anything. Then 2pm hit and we all took a break from shopping and found a nice quite place to  sit and enrol for uni. Luckily I got my friend, Edward to enrol for me so I just sat back and relaxed. then we hit maccas for lunch and we feasted like crazy, getting family meals for $20 and etc. Suddenly heavy rain rolled in out of nowhere, it sounded like it was actually hailing, and so of us got drenched in water, as we headed towards the public bus to go back to the hotel. For dinner we ate at a korean bbq restaurant where once again the boy feasted. That night we realised there was a male among the female, Syliva. I wouldn't say she ate as much as the boys but she definitely ate more than the girls and thats a good thing. Any boy like a girl that can eat cause then we won't be sitting there awkwardly eating away while the girl just stares LOL. After dinner, we planned to hit the swimming pool again but it was already closed so we went wandering around the streets again, and the beach. Don't have much photo of this day.

17th of December, we hit white water world. It was a lot smaller than we expected and due to the shortage of people, we went on all the rides available multiple times. Some rides were closed due to technical difficulties, one of them was The Wedgie, where you drop for 17m straight before guiding down to the bottom. Most of the rides were really fun such as The Green Room, The Super Tube Hydrocoaster, The Bro, The Cyclone. By the end of the day, everybody was extremely tried. That night we had sausage and mashed potato for dinner along with fries, so much carbs hahaha. There was a full moon that night so the view was spectacular. Some of us also hit a different swimming pool (the lagoon and the indoor pool). It was a funny night in the pool, witness dumbass in the gym (you can see the gym while swimming in the pool) doing the stupidest stuff. We also witness Derek diving into the swimming pool floor, and him swimming straight into the wall as well.

The next day we hit the beach, chilled and slept and swam for a whole 4 hours. And thats basically what we did for the whole day hahaha. Then we hit the restaurant where we met Charlie. Then we went back to the hotel and prepared for dinner, had some massive pizza that night. We then headed out to buy some alcohol. Luckily we just got there in time. We drank and played card games trying to keep ourselves busy for whole night as we tried to catch the sunrise. Once it hit 4am, the sun started to rise but the neighbouring hotel, Q1 (the one were gonna book before) exactly blocked the view. After that we all gave up and went to bed.

19th of December was the last day of Gold Coast, Our flight was at 6pm, so we had a whole afternoon to relax, we wandered around the stores near the hotel. The girls went shopping for more clothes, while the boys went sight seeing, LOL (we hit this store called condom and it just sold were sexual toys, t-shirt, and stuff, some were funny while others where interesting and made you go da fuq). We constantly just wandered around the hotel and ended up hitting a restaurant called the Groove for lunch, nothing negative to say for the restaurant, there was even live snooker game on TV while we ate. Then it was time for us to board the plane. On the return trip back home, we witness the sunset while in the air, some beautiful clouds and whales in the ocean. Then most of us took the train home together and that was the end of it. No photo of this day. 

Overall, a memorable trip with friends that cannot be replaced with anybody else. Just can not wait for the next trip so we can make more memories.
